MEDITATION
Meditation is a technique or practice that allows the mind and thoughts to “settle down”, generally allowing the mind to become more peaceful, calm and focused. Common results are relaxation, calmness, reduced blood pressure, lower pulse rate, decreased metabolic rate and improved outlook. Class are available for beginner to advanced levels.
The ancient art of meditation offers a path to transforming our lives. Through meditation, we learn to slow down in order to more clearly see into the nature of the mind and trains us in the experience of peace.
While we already have what is needed to be peaceful and happy, many of us have blocked that knowledge. Training the mind through meditation and developing the right attitudes in life brings out the knowledge that is already there.
